Join us and shape your story with Mott MacDonald, where everyone has the opportunity to be brilliant.Role Responsibilities:Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring toolsProvide support in modelling and resolving clashesAssist BIM Coordinators during coordination meetingsImplement internal BIM standards for modelling tools and object librariesConduct early design reviews and constructability analysesProduce project content using Autodesk Revit and Civil 3DSelect and implement solutions to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., using Dynamo, new plugins)Develop and maintain BIM project documentation (e.g., MIDP, TIDP)Monitor project compliance with agreed workflowsFederate models and perform clash detection reportingConduct BIM checks of models and deliverables produced by the teamIdentify and provide necessary training to team members, helping them upskill as neededCandidate Specification:Should have 10+ years of experience of civil /Structural engineering design or MEP engineering designIEng and a member of the IET or CIBSE or IMECH (Preferably) Extensive years of experience in Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360Familiarity with working to industry modelling standardsKnowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2Should have UK project experienceEngTech TMICE or similarStrong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures and Civil 3D)Strong interest in 3D design, modelling and creating immersive modelsEnthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and softwareHave an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlinesAble to work on your own initiative, whilst displaying a commitment to contribute to, and learn from, the wider teamAble to carry out detailing in 2D environmentExperience in Hydropower project is not mandatory but will be an advantageMust have excellent communication skills We can offer (subject to Company's policy): Agile and safe working environment Competitive annual leave and sick leaves Group incentive scheme Group term life insurance, Workmen's compensation and Group medical insurance coverage Short and Long-term Global employment opportunities Global collaboration and knowledge sharing Digital Innovation and TransformationEquality, diversity and inclusionWe put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our business, seeking to promote fair employment procedures and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all.
