The ideal candidate has strong programming skills in Python, experience with web scraping frameworks, browser automation tools, and strategies for handling anti-scraping mechanisms.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance existing web scraping and data crawling projects to optimize efficiency and compliance with web crawling best practices.Develop and refine crawlers using Python-based tools and frameworks to effectively gather and process data.Utilize browser automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium to handle dynamic content and ensure robust data extraction.Clean, validate, and integrate extracted data into downstream storage systems for seamless data management.Implement and manage solutions for anti-bot measures such as CAPTCHAs and IP rotation to prevent unauthorized access.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data acquisition strategies and contribute to business growth.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in Python with at least 2 years of work experience in web scraping frameworks, particularly Scrapy.Strong knowledge of browser automation tools including Playwright or Selenium.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and selector languages like XPath/CSS.Experience in handling anti-scraping challenges and ensuring robust data extraction techniques.Familiarity with distributed scraping techniques and data pipelines for efficient data processing.Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web crawlers for performance and reliability.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
