About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Corporate Manager. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of actuarial reserving methodologies and be able to analyze complex data sets.The role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to prepare presentations for senior management and take on new projects independently. Experience in regulatory reporting, stochastic modeling, and change analysis is highly desirable.The successful candidate will work closely with senior actuarial professionals to ensure accurate and compliant regulatory reports. They will also oversee the development of high-quality data models and review assumptions and key performance indicators.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will also need to be comfortable working under pressure and coordinating with other business units.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze complex data sets to inform actuarial reserving decisionsPrepare presentations for senior management to communicate findings and recommendationsDevelop and lead a team of motivated actuarial personnel to handle reserving models and capital modeling projectsEnsure error-free and compliant regulatory reportsStay up-to-date with market good practices and actuarial professional standardsRequirementsGraduate or postgraduate degree in finance or related field8+ papers in relevant actuarial qualification5-10 years' experience in actuarial roles in general insurance or health insuranceWorking knowledge of data handling software such as SAS, ResQ, and other reserving softwareExcellent communication and leadership skillsBenefitsThis role offers a challenging and rewarding career path, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
