About the role: We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer who can design databases that guarantee stability, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities:Develop SSRS Reports and dashboards using Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS), Microsoft SQL, MS Excel, pivot tables, and other tools Analysis Services Cubes and relational databasesLeading the design, development, and optimization of complex SQL databases to meet business requirements efficientlyProactively identifying and addressing database performance issues to ensure scalability and responsivenessPlanning and executing data migration projects to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtimeImplementing robust security protocols and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory adherenceInvestigating and resolving complex database problems by leveraging deep expertise and experienceProviding technical leadership on database projects to guide the team in best practices and innovative solutionsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with organizational goals and data strategiesMaintaining comprehensive documentation of database architectures, processes, and best practices.Sharing knowledge and mentor junior developersKnowledge or programming experience in PL/SQL, T-SQL and relational databases e.g., MSSQL, OracleStrong problem solving and communication skillsDevelopment of complex SQL Code (stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions) Required skills & experience:An advanced command of SQL programming, including complex query optimization and database managementIn-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques, including normalization and denormalization, for efficient database designA proven track record of successful database project management from inception to completionSkills to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insightsComplex problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situationsAbility to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the database field and adapt to the evolving industry standardsAbility to seamlessly collaborate with diverse teams and departments to achieve data-related objectives and strategic goalsStrong leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior developers and foster a collaborative environmentExperience with some of the modern relational databasesStrong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databasesImmediate joiner
