About the CompanyWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Python development, providing technical leadership, designing scalable solutions, and driving best practices. You should possess strong expertise in SQL, along with foundational knowledge of cloud platforms to facilitate efficient development and deployment.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Python development, providing technical leadership, designing scalable solutions, and driving best practices.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of Python-based applications, APIs, and automation solutions.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Python programming and related technologies.Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.Assist in deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including understanding deployment pipelines and cloud services.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis.Document technical specifications and contribute to best practices and standards. QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Required Skills6 to 9 years of extensive experience in Python development.Proven expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Python.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database design, querying, and optimization.Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including cloud deployment fundamentals.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within teams.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred SkillsExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Exposure to cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
