Cloud Containerization EngineerAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Containerization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design and implement scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for enterprise-grade workloads, leading upgrades in non-production and production environments with minimal downtime.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AKS architecture and development, proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts and tools, as well as proven expertise in troubleshooting AKS certificate issues and network-related problems.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and Optimization: Ensure optimal AKS cluster health, resource utilization, and cost efficiency through continuous monitoring and optimization strategies.Documentation and Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on architectural designs, operational procedures, and migration playbooks for AKS environments, ensuring adherence to governance policies and compliance standards.Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate AKS with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, providing technical leadership and guidance on container orchestration and Kubernetes ecosystem tools.Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot AKS certificate issues, networking challenges, and cluster connectivity problems, providing expert-level support to ensure seamless operations.Application Migration: Develop and execute application migration strategies into AKS containers, ensuring smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.Azure Expertise: Maintain and enhance knowledge of Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools for AKS environments, staying up-to-date with the latest features and best practices.Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce best practices for AKS cluster security, scalability, and performance optimization, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.Cost Efficiency: Optimize AKS cluster resource allocation and usage, minimizing costs without compromising performance or security.Solution Architecture: Design and develop solution architectures for AKS environments, incorporating containerization, microservices, and serverless computing principles.Change Management: Develop and implement change management processes for AKS upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining high availability.Benchmarking and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for AKS cluster performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing resource allocation accordingly.Certification and Training: Pursue relevant certifications and training programs to stay current with industry developments and advancements in cloud computing, containerization, and Kubernetes.RequirementsStrong hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) architecture and development.Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts and tools.Proven experience in AKS cluster upgrades and application migrations to containerized environments.Expertise in troubleshooting AKS certificate issues and network-related problems.Familiarity with Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools for AKS environments.Ability to design and implement scalable and secure AKS clusters.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience with containerization, microservices, and serverless computing principles.
