Responsibilities:

The Procurement Lead is responsible for managing the end-to- end procurement process of electrical equipment and services required for various power projects, including Solar, Thermal Power, and Transmission Lines, both domestically and internationally. This role encompasses procurement, purchase, expediting, supply chain management, and contract management for a wide range of electrical equipment, including but not limited to, Transmission Lines, Switchyards, Transformers, Substations, HT/LT Switchgear, CT, PT, Isolators, HT/LT Motors, VFD, UPS, and Cables.


● Lead and manage the procurement process for electrical equipment and services required

for power projects.

● Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with project requirements and organizational goals.

● Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

● Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors for electrical equipment and services.

● Oversee the entire supply chain process, from order placement to delivery and installation.

● Act as the Commodity Lead for procurement of conductors and other critical electrical components.


Minimum of 12-16 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the

electrical or power sector, with a proven track record in managing large-scale procurement projects
