Technical E-commerce Project Manager OpportunityJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Technical E-commerce Project Manager to lead our e-commerce projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing BigCommerce or Shopify projects and will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, sprint planning, deployment, and post-launch optimization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of BigCommerce/Shopify projectsAct as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teamsCollaborate with developers and designers to deliver custom storefronts, APIs, and integrationsOversee migration projects to BigCommerce or Shopify from other platformsEnsure timely and high-quality project deliveryIdentify and implement apps and third-party integrations to enhance site functionalityMonitor QA, testing, and performance to ensure flawless store launchesProvide proactive communication to clients and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation plansDrive continuous improvement in project processesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as an E-commerce Project ManagerStrong understanding of BigCommerce and/or Shopify platform architecture, APIs, customizations, and integrationsExperience in migration, theme customization, and store setup on BigCommerce or ShopifyFamiliarity with cross-functional teams working on SaaS e-commerce platformsExcellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilitiesExperience with Agile / Scrum methodologiesProficiency in Jira, Trello, or Asana for project trackingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsGood understanding of e-commerce operations — product catalog, checkout, payments, shipping, and fulfillment workflowsAbout Us:We are a boutique e-commerce technology and marketing consulting company that caters to B2B and B2C e-commerce businesses in the US and UK.
