Job Title: Automation Testing SpecialistWe are seeking an accomplished Automation Testing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.As a key member of our QA team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Responsibilities include:Designing and developing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.Executing automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test data.Performing code reviews and providing feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.Requirements include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest) is a plus.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus.
