Senior Cloud Data ArchitectWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Data Architect to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge, cloud-native data warehouse on AWS.This key role is critical to building a scalable, secure, and efficient data platform that supports analytics, reporting, and AI use cases across the organization.Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud-based environments and experience leading a team to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions.Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a modern data architecture, developing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years working in cloud-based environments (preferably AWS).Strong hands-on experience with AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, and other core AWS services.Proficient in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.Experience in building and managing data models and data pipelines for large-scale data environments.Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data lakes, and modern data architecture.Experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Benefits:Experience with Power BI, Snowflake on AWS, or Databricks is a plus.Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD.Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks in AWS.Others:Please note that exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD and familiarity with data governance and security frameworks in AWS are highly desirable but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
