About this RoleThis is a senior accounting role requiring leadership and management of fund accounting operations.Fund Accounting Lead will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to investment managers.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEBI AIF Regulations, Indian accounting standards (IGAAP), and debt instruments. They should also have excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) on a periodic basis.Track and record income accruals from structured debt instruments.Post and reconcile investment transactions, including purchases, redemptions, amortization, mark-ups, and capital gains/losses.Monitor coupon income, redemption premiums, purchase discounts, and variable cash flows for PTCs and securitized assets.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent experience.At least 8 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, IGAAP, and debt instruments.Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.Preferred ExperiencePrior exposure to Category III AIFs with leverage, complex fee structures, or frequent trading.
