Position Title: Team Lead/Staff Engineer - Software

Location: Bangalore, India

Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated Software Team lead/Staff Engineer, who will lead a cross functional development to deliver innovative solutions to complex business needs and maintain software solutions that are leveraged extensively throughout the Allegion product portfolio

Job Description:

Responsible for end-to-end software development for a cross functional team in Bangalore

Act as a reporting manger for a cross functional team

Act as a project delivery lead

Play the role of scrum master

Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to manage all the phases of SDLC.

- Create environment that builds Employee Engagement and fosters Employee Growth and Development
- Set individual and team goals in Alignment with Organizational goal and monitor progress through regular performance feedback sessions with their Organizations
- Ensures engineering solutions meet requirements for cost, time, and quality.
- Acts as escalation point to resolve issues within the team and to help coordinate resolution of issues with external parties
- Works with the organization to provide the tools and resources to enable team members to be successful in execution
- Drives collaboration across individuals, teams, and groups.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in playing the role of manager for a team – Setting up Goals, Performance Assessment, Providing Feedback, Hiring and Growing the team

Experience working in C#, API, JavaScript and web development.

Project management experience and complete knowledge of SDLC Lifecyle.

Experience in Scrum and demonstrated Scrum master role.

Development Experience with web and API driven application development (Microsoft technologies)

- Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
- Ability to clearly articulate business goals and strategies, facilitate teams in solving problems and making decisions, and effective engagement with peer organizations.
- A role model in effective Communication, Collaboration, Networking, Candor, Emotional Resilience, Negotiation, working within a team environment and cross functionally
- Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process, ability to assess risk and act with a sense of urgency.
- Self-directed and able to direct others.

Required Education and/or Experience:

BE/BTech/M Tech/MCA/MSc /BCA / BSc - CS

10 to 17 Years of experience
