Job Description: L2 Storage & Server Administrator (VDI)Location: Ghaziabad Experience: 5+ Years Qualification: BE/B.Tech (CS / IT / Electronics) Shift: General (9×6) Interview: Final Technical RoundPRIMARY SKILLS Server & VDI AdministrationMonitor and troubleshoot Blade servers, chassis, VxRail, and management serversPerform firmware updates, security patching, and log analysisCoordinate with OEM vendors for hardware issuesMonitor vCenter (read-only)Support DC migration, microcode upgrades, and documentation (SOP, POA)Storage Administration (PowerMax / ENAS / NAS)Perform PowerMax health checksCreate/expand SRP, Storage Groups, LUNs, masking viewsManage NAS file systems, shares, quotas, and departmental drivesHandle volume expansion, performance issues, and connectivity problemsPerform snapshot cleanup, bandwidth control, and ENAS expansionCoordinate with OEM for storage incidentsSECONDARY SKILLSBackup AdministrationManage Networker backups and tape operationsMonitor Data Domain healthPerform backup, restore, and recovery activitiesSecurity & ComplianceFollow change managementApply OS, firmware, and security patchesImplement VAPT recommendations, ACL, and firewall updatesEnsure secure data deletionGeneral ResponsibilitiesSupport DR activities and SOP creationMonitor alerts and ensure SLA complianceProvide backup support to Storage & Backup L2 engineerSkills RequiredStrong experience with PowerMax, ENAS, NASHands-on VDI & VxRail infrastructureBackup tools: Networker, Data DomainServer & chassis hardware managementLog analysis and troubleshooting skillsFirmware, patching, and security compliance experience
