Headmistress – Primary Department

Amenity Public School, a 20-year-old institution committed to academic excellence and holistic growth, is looking for a Headmistress to lead the Primary Department. We seek a visionary educator who can nurture both teachers and young learners, ensuring joyful learning while building a strong academic foundation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Primary Department (Grades Nur–5).
• Mentor and guide teachers in curriculum planning, classroom practices, and assessments.
• Ensure innovative, child-centric, and activity-based teaching methods.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies for overall development.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school management to create a supportive ecosystem.
• Organize co-curricular activities, workshops, and events that enrich the primary years.
• Maintain discipline, well-being, and a nurturing environment for children and staff.
• Drive teacher professional development and capacity-building initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Education with B.Ed. (essential).
• 8–12 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of primary pedagogy and child development.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance academics with co-curricular and value-based education.
• Compassionate, disciplined, and committed to the school’s vision.
