This role is critical in building innovative features that leverage public APIs for live telecom network information and satellite data—empowering users with accurate, real-time insights on connectivity, coverage, and geospatial conditions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mobile development along with a strong understanding of telecom networks, satellite systems, and real-time data integration. Key Responsibilities Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing mobile applications on Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) . Design and develop new features that leverage telecom and satellite APIs . Integrate and manage live telecom network data such as: Signal strength, tower-based insights, coverage maps Bandwidth, network performance, and connectivity metrics Integrate and manage satellite datasets, including: GNSS/GPS signals, orbital data, navigation systems Weather, imagery, and geospatial datasets Build efficient pipelines for real-time data ingestion, caching, and visualization within mobile apps. Ensure app stability, scalability, and compatibility across multiple devices. Collaborate with backend engineers, data teams, and UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences. Manage App Store and Google Play Store updates, releases, and compliance. Ensure compliance with telecom, satellite, and data privacy regulations. Stay updated with emerging trends in telecommunications, satellite technologies, and mobile app development . Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering , or related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app development (Android & iOS). Strong expertise in Android development (mandatory); exposure to iOS is acceptable. Proven experience integrating public APIs for real-time data. Strong knowledge of telecom network APIs (cell towers, spectrum, LTE/5G coverage). Experience with satellite data APIs (GNSS, remote sensing, orbital datasets, geospatial services). Proficiency in data visualization (heatmaps, charts, mapping SDKs). Strong command of RESTful/GraphQL APIs , JSON/XML, and WebSockets. Familiarity with Git , CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release processes. Ability to debug, optimize, and improve performance of mobile applications. Preferred Skills Experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native). Familiarity with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, KML, Shapefiles). Hands-on experience with mapping SDKs (Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenLayers). Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP . Knowledge of telecom analytics tools or satellite communication systems. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Passion for telecommunications, satellite systems, and emerging mobile technologies . Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and user experience.
