Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Underwriting Manager to lead our mortgage underwriting team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team of underwriters and ensuring that all mortgage loans are processed efficiently and effectively.Your primary objective will be to maintain client satisfaction while meeting business objectives. You will need to stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance and quality standards.You will also be responsible for training and developing the skills of your team members, providing coaching and mentoring as needed. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage underwriting, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Required Skills and QualificationsDomain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of End-to-End Underwriting, Live UW, Post Close and Pre-Funding Underwriting.Experience: Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Underwriting (US Mortgage).Leadership & Functional Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, process-driven, self-starter, possesses high degree of skills with – time management, people management, discipline, negotiation.Certifications: Must have a graduate degree or equivalent of (10+2+3) year of education.BenefitsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
