Senior Data Engineer - Oracle ExpertWe are seeking a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in architecting and implementing robust data pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT data pipelines using ODI, as well as building and automating data ingestion workflows through Python and shell scripting.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop ETL/ELT data pipelines using ODI, ensuring high-performance data processing and scalability.Automate data ingestion workflows through Python and shell scripting, integrating structured and unstructured data from APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.Configure ODI load plans, packages, and interfaces for scalable data processing, ensuring seamless integration of data from various sources.Maintain metadata layers, subject areas, and dashboards in Oracle Cloud (OAC) to support self-service analytics and business intelligence initiatives.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement OTBI and Oracle Cloud tools for efficient data management and analysis.Document integration logic and ensure transparency across transformation layers and data lineage, promoting data governance and compliance.Required Skills:Expertise in ODI Studio, Knowledge Modules, and Load Plan architecture.Proficiency in ETL/ELT frameworks, performance tuning, and staging optimization.Advanced scripting skills in Python and Unix shell for workflow automation and validation.Strong knowledge of API data integration, including authentication, filtering, and normalization.OBIEE experience with RPD modeling, dashboard development, and analytic views.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).Familiarity with PL/SQL and query optimization techniques.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned data engineer to take their skills to the next level and contribute to a dynamic team.
