Lead Financial Data Analyst RoleWe are seeking a Lead Financial Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, robust reporting, and data models that support business decision-making and operational excellence.The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting analytics, with strong proficiency in SQL and expertise in Tableau or Power BI. The successful applicant will enjoy working with complex financial data, building scalable reporting, and translating business questions into clear, data-driven recommendations.Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements and analytical needs.Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and queries to support recurring and ad-hoc analysis.Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with reconciliations, variance analyses, and operational reporting as needed.Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data models, data quality, and documentation across finance/accounting domains.Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, including presentations and written summaries.Contribute to the design and implementation of automation and standardization for recurring finance/accounting reporting and metrics.Ensure that reports and analyses adhere to controls, data governance, and audit/SOX requirements where applicable.Key Responsibilities:
