Our capabilities span conversational AI, semantic search, data intelligence, and fully agentic AI workflows that can reason, plan, and act autonomously.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Lead Python Developer who will work closely with Cogninest AI’s leadership and global clients to deliver advanced GenAI and data-driven solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Python applications while guiding a team of developers and ensuring best engineering practices. You will build and integrate GenAI workflows, machine learning models, and APIs, optimize system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions. This position offers a clear growth path into the Cogninest AI leadership team for high performers who demonstrate strong technical, communication, and ownership qualities.QualificationsProficiency in Python, Django, and Flask with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applicationsStrong understanding of APIs, system integration, and developing end-to-end workflowsUnderstanding of natural language processing (NLP), semantic search, and working with large language modelsStrong debugging, testing, and version control skills (e.g., using tools like Git)Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureBachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven teamwork and leadership experience with excellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred: Familiarity with data management, vector databases, and conversational AI systems like LangChain and Chromadb
