The Video Editor will work with the Manager to ensure that all videos are edited to the highest quality. This role requires a strong understanding of video editing software as well as the ability to follow complex directions.What Would This Role Entail?Edit video content for post-productionCreate and edit graphics for videos when neededEnsure all videos adhere to company standards for quality and lengthEnsure that videos are uploaded to social media platforms in a timely mannerFollow company standards when editing, including using voice over and music when necessaryWork with the Communication Manager on scheduling productions and deadlinesNecessary Qualifications/Skills:Minimum 3+ years experience in video editing. Experience in a News Channel or in an Ad Agency preferred.Strong knowledge of Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or other relevant video editing software.Ability to follow complex instructionsBasic understanding of politics and the nature of India’s democracyFamiliar with special effects, animation, 3D and compositingCalm under pressure and comfortable with a fast-paced work environmentDeadline-focused and goal-driven with excellent problem solving skillsAttention to detail and reasonable verbal communication skillsMarathi language proficiency is a must have requirement for this role.How to ApplyIf you're a fresh professional looking for a high-impact challenge, interested in joining a team oflike-minded and motivated individuals who think strategically, act decisively, and get things done, drop in an email at openings@varaheanalytics.com
