The Media Coordinator – Global Communications at Biocon Biologics will play a pivotal role in driving high-impact media engagement and strategic communications. This role demands a blend of meticulous organizational skills, media coordination expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner, ensuring seamless scheduling, flawless execution of media interactions, and professional representation of the company to stakeholders worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Media & External Coordination: Serve as the second point of contact for journalists and media agencies, and industry bodies; schedule interviews, press briefings, and public appearances. Ensure all media interactions are properly scheduled for, documented, and followed up on.
  • Content & Document Preparation: Manage documentation of media coverage, correspondence, press materials and communication assets.
  • Event & Meeting Hosting: Act as a host for visiting media representatives, and partners, ensuring a professional and engaging experience. Coordinate logistics for on-site and virtual events.
  • Travel Management: Coordinate domestic and international travel itineraries, including visa requirements, and accommodation. Prepare detailed travel briefs to ensure the executive is well-prepared for engagements. This is for visiting media and media related partners and executives.
  • Calendar & Scheduling Management: Maintain and coordinate the executive’s calendar, ensuring optimal time allocation for strategic priorities, meetings, and travel. This is required from time to time during Media and critical events and the preparation and lead up to media, internal and external events.
  • Information Management: Track action items, follow up on pending deliverables, and ensure timely closure of tasks.
  • Confidential Support: Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in a media coordinator or similar support role, preferably in a global or corporate communications environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in working with global cross-functional teams and ability to interact with senior executives, media, and diverse external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Professional presence with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
