Job Responsibility

Strategy and Development

• Ensure timely receipt of Material; plan and schedule in advance to Suppliers and Consolidation Centres as per share of business through MRP and ensure adherence
• Review and highlight the exceptions and procure the materials from the suppliers that are required in the plant.
• Responsible for obsolescence management in order to control and minimise the risk that can impact the business. Initiate actions to optimise inventory considering the variability in demand and supply through PDCA cycle.
• Review & Keep continuous Track of Material receipt & dispatches at Consolidation Centre for plant deliveries.
• Responsible to deliver best practice results, add value and ensure continuous improvements
• Oversee and ensure there are no stock out situations.
• Summarise vendor performance and keep track of TML production downtime, premium shipments, packaging & documentation issues & ASN Adherence and furnish PSR for the deviations / incidences.
• Undertake PDCA projects and participate in CFT’s for inventory management, logistics improvement (green packaging, TCS), TQM, Vendor Safety Management etc

Relationship development:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and smooth flow of processes.
• To ensure effective relationships by maintaining an appropriate interface between suppliers and logistics service providers.

People Management

• Interact with suppliers to understand their concerns and suggest solutions for the issues to enhance & improve the performance of the overall process.
