Data Protection OfficerThis role supports the organization's resilience, confidence, and growth by ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations. The selected candidate will have experience in leading or supporting the implementation of digital personal data protection strategies involving cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Ensure DPDP Act and internal data-privacy policies are upheld, conduct privacy risk assessments, data audits, maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), review data flows across systems including CRM SLIMS D365 Shopify Magento mobile apps websites, oversee consent management, data subject rights incident response from a privacy standpoint.Collaborate with Technology, Legal, Marketing, Sales Operations to ensure privacy by design, manage vendor privacy compliance, Data Processing Agreements, lead training awareness initiatives for employees and partners.This role is responsible for: Developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures. Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential security threats. Maintaining accurate records of all data processing activities. Collaborating with IT to implement secure systems and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical skills required for this position include a strong understanding of digital healthcare, CRM, and e-commerce platforms. Preferred certifications include CIPP/E and DPO Certification, as well as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
