Project Financial Analyst Role OverviewThe Cost Controller position involves preparing project cost forecasts, managing schedules and resources, and ensuring financial efficiency.Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare accurate project cost forecasts and trend analysis reports.Schedule Management: Maintain up-to-date project schedules and resource allocation plans.Cost Control and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost planning documents, estimate construction costs, manage budgets, and track cash flow.Change Order and Reporting: Process project change orders, track schedule changes, and prepare monthly/quarterly review reports for management.EPC/LSTK Project Estimation: Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for EPC/LSTK projects.Vendor Negotiation and Contract Preparation: Provide input for vendor/subcontractor rate negotiations and assist in preparing work orders with contractual conditions.Financial Presentations and Close-out Phase: Regularly present project financials to the Project Manager and Head Office, highlighting cost overruns or savings opportunities, and participate in the project close-out phase.
