Roles and Responsibilities

  • Data Engineer with experience in GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, Python scripting and DBT.
  • Good experience in developing Pipeline and maintaining it.
  • Provide operational and enhancement support to existing Pipelines
  • Stronger expertise in Data warehouse concepts.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Implement data storage solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP data services.
  • Optimize and tune data processing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest GCP services and features and recommend improvements to existing data infrastructure.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
  • Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
