Technical IT ExpertThis is a position that requires the expertise of an IT professional to manage and maintain various aspects of our organization's technology infrastructure.The role will involve overseeing global IT operations, ensuring all devices are up and running, and implementing strategies to improve performance and efficiency.Infrastructure Management: In-depth knowledge of Windows server administration (AD, DHCP, WDS, and DNS) and Linux administration.Data Protection: Backups administration using Veeam software.Security: Vulnerability resolving skills using Rapid7, Bitsight, and Upguard.Virtualization: VMware administration.Storage Management: Knowledge in managing Synology, Qnap, and NetApp storage systems.Scripting Language: Strong knowledge in scripting languages.Troubleshooting: Guide NOC team for resolving issues, quickly diagnose and resolve system issues and outages to minimize impact.Disaster Recovery: Disaster recovery planning and implementation.Patching: Servers patching and maintenance.Documentation: Preparation of SOP documents and audit documentation for SOC/ISO compliance.Cloud Computing: Knowledge in cloud computing platforms AWS, Azure, and GCP.User Management: User account management and access control.Incident Handling: Incident handling and response procedures.Hardware Knowledge: Good knowledge in servers hardware and network equipment.Network Fundamentals: Basic networking concepts and principles.Antivirus Software: Antivirus software management using CrowdStrike and Sophos.Security Auditing: Monitor and audit security logs for suspicious activities.Research and Development: Research and development of key IT infrastructure and strategies.Redundancy and Stability: Ensure redundancy and stability for all critical systems.Issue Escalation: Escalate and communicate issues and concerns as necessary.Problem-Solving Skills: Good troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee global IT operations and ensure all devices are up and running.- Implement strategies to improve performance and efficiency.- Manage and maintain various aspects of technology infrastructure.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.Skills:- Proficiency in Windows server administration (AD, DHCP, WDS, and DNS).- Strong knowledge of Linux administration.- Experience with backup software Veeam.- Familiarity with virtualization software VMware.- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms AWS, Azure, and GCP.- Excellent problem-solving skills.Working Conditions:This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
