Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UI Engineer to be part of the technical development of an analytic decisioning platform. You will be part of a highly energetic team of software engineers to create the next generation software platform for FICO’s software workflow capabilities. This role involves contributing to the product engineering team responsible for generation of workflow definition & execution of high-volume low latency workflows. These capabilities embody patented and unique market value that drives critical business value in a high growth area. This opportunity offers a unique technical role to work with cutting edge technology applied to one-of-a-kind business problems.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with product managers to understand priorities and usage scenarios of product features.
  • Develop micro-frontends(MFE) and reusable domain specific UI components and assemble them as solutions.
  • Collaborate with other product teams.
  • Collaborate with user experience personnel to understand personas within usage scenarios.
  • Collaborate within working groups of architects/leads/software engineers to create cutting edge software following engineering standards, guidance, and processes.
  • Assist research, case studies and prototypes on technologies to ensure the software platform remains the leading analytic decisioning platform.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to design and implement non-functional tests.


What we’re seeking


Required

  • Strong hands-on coding experience in TypeScript, Angular 17+, RxJs, and NgRx with a deep understanding of state management in complex frontend architectures.
  • Experience in developing Micro Front Ends (MFE).
  • Solid understanding of the foundation and building blocks of web and the UI.
  • Experience working across the stack to deliver world-class user experiences.
  • Experience writing semantically correct and clean HTML, CSS, SASS with affordances for accessibility.
  • Familiarity with the Nx, Cypress, Lighthouse, Webpack & Module Federation.
  • Familiarity with the Karma, Jest, Jasmine, Playwright
  • Experience in building, tracking, and communicating plans within agile processes.
  • Familiarity with supporting production software deployments.
  • Experience with commercial software product processes.
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

Desired

  • Familiarity with multiple public cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Google, Azure.
  • Experience in integrating one of the UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue with Java/Spring Boot backend.
  • Experience in Jenkins/GitHub actions
