More about the Role:
We are seeking a highly creative and fast-thinking Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the production process, handling pre-production planning, production logistics, and post-production editing. This role requires excellent technical skills, strong editing expertise, and proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro. The candidate should be collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team for scheduling, budgeting, and planning during the pre-production phase.
- Assist in storyboarding and casting approvals to align with project goals.
- Manage production logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
- Edit video content with a focus on quality, creativity, and alignment with project briefs.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools for editing, ensuring technical and visual excellence.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to meet creative and technical requirements.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on all deliverables to maintain high standards.
- Set and manage timelines for post-production delivery, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Proven 2+ years of work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Strong expertise in video editing tools, especially Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Solid understanding of the production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production workflows.
- Ability to think quickly and problem-solve under tight deadlines.
- Creativity and an eye for detail to craft engaging visual content.
- Knowledge of collaborative storyboarding, casting, and logistics management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with advanced editing techniques and technical workflows.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of file formats, resolution standards, and compression techniques.
