Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a WhatsApp Chatbot Developer located in Pune, India. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying WhatsApp-based chatbots. This role involves understanding user requirements, automating customer interactions, integrating APIs, and ensuring smooth chatbot functionality. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective and efficient chatbot solutions tailored to business needs. Location: On-site, Pune (Webassic IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) Engagement: Short-Term Contract (3 Months) We are looking for a developer who can build and deploy a WhatsApp chatbot using WATI or similar platforms. The role requires someone who understands automation flows, integrations, and can move fast. Must-Have Skills: • Hands-on experience with WATI, Gupshup, Twilio or similar WhatsApp API platforms • Ability to create chatbot flows, templates, automation rules • Experience integrating APIs, webhooks, and backend logic • Understanding of WhatsApp Cloud API and Meta approval processes • Strong debugging skills and ability to work independently • Comfortable working on-site from our Pune office Bonus Skills (Good to Have): • Basic knowledge of Python, Node.js, or any backend scripting • Experience with CRM or ERP integrations • Familiarity with AI-based responses or LLM API integration What You Will Work On: • Designing end-to-end WhatsApp chatbot flows • Implementing message automation, FAQs, and user journeys • Integrating with backend systems and databases • Setting up notifications, triggers, opt-ins, and analytics • Ensuring compliance with Meta’s guidelines Who Will Fit This Role: • Someone who has built chatbots before • Can work fast and deliver within a structured 3-month timeline • Understands real-world automation requirements • Wants to work directly with founders on an impactful product Contract Duration: 3 Months Mode: On-site, Pune Interested or know someone who fits? 👉 Email your profile to hire@webassic.com 👉 Immediate availability preferred 👉 Referrals appreciated Let’s build smart automation together. 🚀
