Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Snowflake Azure Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and ADF.This is a challenging opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with talented individuals in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities include:Designing and developing forward-thinking solutions in data engineering and analytics spaceCollaborating with DW/BI leads to understand new ETL pipeline development requirementsTriage issues to find gaps in existing pipelines and fix the issuesWorking with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop a data model to fulfill themHelping team members resolve technical challengesDriving technical discussions with architect and team membersOrchestrating data pipelines in the scheduler via AirflowRequired skills include:Expertise in Snowflake security, Snowflake SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objectsHands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowsight, and Snowflake connectorsDeep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modelingStrong knowledge of Data Management principlesGood understanding of Databricks Data & AI platform and Databricks Delta Lake ArchitectureExperience in building ETL / data warehouse transformation processesExperience working with structured and unstructured data including imaging & geospatial dataExperience working in Dev/Ops environment with tools such as Terraform, CircleCI, and GITProficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and Query OptimizationDatabricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional Certification (Desirable)We offer a dynamic and innovative work environment with ongoing concurrent projects.
