Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Python.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, as well as experience working with large datasets and relational databases. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role that offers opportunities for growth and development, then we encourage you to apply.RequirementsData Engineering: Strong knowledge of ETL processes using Azure Data Factory or Synapse or Databricks; establishing cloud connectivity between different systems like ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks etc.Power BI Skills: Candidates must possess hands-on Power BI skills.Informatica Knowledge: Candidates must have good understanding of Informatica.Programming Skills: Design and develop ETL processes based on functional and non-functional requirements in python / pyspark within Azure platform.Database Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience with large SQL data marts. Expert relational database experience, Candidate should demonstrate ability to navigate through massive volumes of data to deliver effective and efficient data extraction, design, load, and reporting solutions to business partnersTroubleshooting and Support: Experience in troubleshooting and supporting large databases and testing activities; Identifying reporting, and managing database security issues, user access/management; Designing database backup, archiving and storage, performance tuning, ETL importing large volume of data extracted from multiple systems, capacity planningTSQL Programming: Experience in TSQL programming along with Azure Data Factory framework and Python scriptingData Mart Experience: Financial institution data mart experience is an asset.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible working hours and a range of employee benefits.
