We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to manage our financial records with precision and organisation. This is a Full-Time Remote role that requires strong bookkeeping skills, proficiency in Xero and a thorough understanding of UK accounting standards.The successful candidate will have 2–3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the UK, and be AAT qualified or have completed a recognised UK bookkeeping course.They will possess excellent organisational skills, be highly accurate and able to triple-check their work, and have a good knowledge of UK tax rules and expense categories.The ideal candidate will be able to allocate Stripe payments accurately, even when received in batches, and communicate professionally with our team.As a remote worker, you will be expected to meet deadlines, work independently and support our accountant as needed for VAT, year-end and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Record and categorise expenses, petty cash and receiptsRaise and generate invoices, ensuring correct reconciliationLink and reconcile bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal and other platformsAttach invoices and documents to Xero entries with accurate referencesEnsure all referencing is clear and traceableManage the invoice process from creation to tracking and paymentRegularly reconcile transactions to keep books up to dateComply with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelinesKeep digital finance files tidy and accessibleWhat We Offer:A competitive monthly salary based on experienceOngoing support, training and developmentA calm, supportive team with clear systemsAn opportunity to grow into a senior finance role over time
