The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications in a microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software solutions that meet our clients‘ needs.

Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8 or 11.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Implement and manage SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
Utilize Gradle for project automation and build processes.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Design and implement microservices architecture.
Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices to enhance development processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Java development, specifically with Java 8 or 11.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with Gradle for project automation and builds.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of other databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
Certification in Java or related technologies.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools in a cloud environment.
Understanding of security best practices in cloud deployments.
