About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-level Consultant to join our global Information Security Practice. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in ISO 27001, and related Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards. This role involves supporting client engagements to prepare them for certification and contribute to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements for ISO 27001, and related ISMS standards implementation and certification. ISO 22301 will be added advantage.
  • Assist in conducting gap analyses and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement in clients' information security and business continuity practices
  • Help develop and implement ISMS frameworks tailored to each client's needs and risk profile
  • Support clients through the certification process, from initial assessment to final audit
  • Provide advice on best practices for maintaining compliance post-certification
  • Assist in delivering training and workshops to client teams on ISMS standards and implementation strategies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment of security practices with business objectives
  • Stay current with evolving standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery
  • Support senior consultants in project delivery and client management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years working with ISO 27001, and related standards
  • Current certifications in ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor (or actively pursuing certification)
  • Additional certifications such as Security+ or Associate are desirable
  • Experience in supporting organizations through ISO certifications
  • Good understanding of information security frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experience working in diverse team environments
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
