This is a high-level technical role focused on Workday integrations.Workday Integration Specialist Role Overview This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex Workday integrations. Key areas of focus include finance, payroll, HR systems, and other critical business functions. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for Workday integrations, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. They will lead the integration team, drive best practices, and ensure consistency in integration development and delivery. Key Responsibilities This includes building and optimizing interfaces to customer and vendor systems using Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIB, iLoad, XML, XSLT, and Web Services. Hands-on coding and integration expertise across project lifecycles will be crucial for success in this role. Leveraging XML, XSLT, and scripting tools to create and maintain robust integrations is also essential. Detailed documentation, including comprehensive integration specifications, field mappings, and technical design documents, will be necessary. Stakeholder Collaboration and Issue Resolution This individual will partner with stakeholders to assess integration needs and design optimal solutions. Collaboration with finance, payroll, and HR teams to ensure seamless data flow and system alignment is key. Investigating and resolving integration issues, performing root cause analyses, and recommending improvements will be an ongoing responsibility. Driving strategic advancements in Workday integration practices across the organization will also be required. Data Management and System Alignment This person will oversee data flow between Workday and internal/external systems, ensuring alignment with business processes. Supporting organizational data strategies through effective Workday integrations will be an important aspect of this role.
