Technical Program Manager -SOXDescription -Job SummaryThe newly formed Office of CIO (OCIO) function is looking for a dynamic Principal Program Manager to lead all technology policy management and governance initiatives across HP. Effective and robust tech policies, implemented in a simplified and efficient manner is a critical enabler to foster "compliance by design" culture across the enterprise. Compliance by design is an integral part of operational excellence enabling HP's future ready vision with stable, secure, and compliant technology operations.As a Principal Program Manager, you will use your techno functional expertise to lead multi-disciplinary policy, process, and governance initiatives from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders across Digital Technologies, Digital Solutions, Enterprise Operations, Legal, Privacy, and other business functions, to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. If you are passionate about driving robust policy management and governance through innovative and efficient processes, we invite you to apply for the Principal Program Manager - Policy Management and Governance position and be a part of our forward-thinking team.ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for IT policies and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.Compliance by Design: Embed compliance into the design and development of IT systems and processes, promoting proactive adherence to regulations and standards.Process Optimization: Identify and implement six sigma lean methodologies to streamline compliance processes, reducing complexity and enhancing efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital Technology (DT), Enterprise Operations (EO), legal, and business units, to ensure comprehensive understanding and integration of compliance requirements.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT policies and compliance, ensuring robust controls and monitoring mechanisms are in place.Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance best practices and the importance of "compliance by design."Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and drive continuous improvement.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of compliance initiatives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.Innovative Use of Technology: Innovatively use AI and other emerging technologies to run the initiatives efficiently and creatively make policy training easy to learn and complyEducation & Experience RequiredFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.10+ experience in technology program managementProven experience in technology management, compliance, and process optimization.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., SOX, ISO, NIST, FedRamp).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Experience with lean, Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Certifications- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification- Lean Six Sigma certifiedJob -Data & Information TechnologySchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
