About the RoleWe're hiring a backend developer to work on a healthcare technology platform. You'll build and maintain APIs, design database schemas, optimize performance, and ship production-grade code.Requirements3–5 years of backend experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS/NextJS). Strong with data architecture, database - PostgreSQL, Redis, and Firebase. Comfortable deploying on GCP or AWS. You write clean, testable code and don't need hand-holding.Good to HaveExperience in healthcare/healthtech. Exposure to FHIR, HL7, or health data standards.Compensation₹1.5L/month. Contract basis with potential conversion based on performance and project scope.Responsibilities- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices- Develop and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL- Implement caching layers using Redis- Integrate third-party services and Firebase for real-time features- Deploy and manage infrastructure on GCP/AWS- Write clean, documented, testable code- Participate in code reviews and technical planning- Debug production issues and own system reliabilityQualifications- 3–5 years backend development experience- Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express, Fastify, or NestJS)- Solid grasp of PostgreSQL, Redis, Firebase- Experience with GCP or AWS (compute, storage, networking basics)- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization- Ability to work independently in async, remote setup
