Job Opportunity:We are seeking an accomplished OpenShift Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the deployment, scaling, automation, and ongoing management of OpenShift clusters and cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, including version upgrades, patching, scaling, and cluster lifecycle management.Utilize the oc CLI, OpenShift Web Console, and Kubernetes-native tooling to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications.Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines integrating tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools to ensure reliability and performance across GCP and OpenShift environments.Troubleshoot platform and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.Implement security best practices, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), policies, network security, and compliance within Kubernetes/OpenShift.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of GCP resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application readiness and platform optimization.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and configuration references.Manage lifecycle operations including control plane/worker node upgrades, certificate renewals, and platform maintenance.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience in OpenShift cluster management, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.Proficiency with oc CLI, YAML manifests, Operators, Deployments, StatefulSets, Routes, and ConfigMaps.Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar).Expertise in monitoring/observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, or similar tools.Solid knowledge of GCP cloud services, IAM, networking, load balancers, and cloud resource management.Strong proficiency in Terraform and IaC practices.Experience troubleshooting complex platform-level issues and conducting root cause analysis.Understanding of security, RBAC, container security, and Kubernetes/OpenShift best practices.Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
