Position Title: Civil 3D Site Utility Modeler

Location: Madurai

Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil 3D Site Utility Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 years above of professional experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on both dry and wet utility modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D for BIM. This role involves modeling utility systems for all infrastructure and commercial projects, ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Duties: Knowledge of Civil drawings (e.g. Site layout, Grading, Drainage, Utility Plan & Profiles, Earthwork, etc.).
  • Ability to understand the client’s requirements.
  • Quality assurance for all the deliverables (3D Models & Shop Drawings).
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks for clash resolving purposes.
  • Strong understanding of utility systems (water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric, telecom) and their integration within infrastructure projects while surface modeling, earthwork calculation, and drainage calculation is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of As-built drawings and modeling.
  • Knowledge of updating RFI’s using Revizto / BIM 360, ACC and maintaining proper documentation as per client’s requirements.


Secondary tasks will include:


  • Able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate and account for any changes in the scope of work.
  • Maintain accurate records, as per desirable work area.
  • Ability to coordinate with other team members.
  • Knowledge sharing and mentoring juniors/colleagues.
  • Qualities: A quality-conscious team player with an outgoing personality.
  • Practical of knowledge on Civil drawings as per industry standards.
  • Able to function in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and thrive in an environment where knowledge is shared and ideas are developed.
