Job Description:

We are actively looking for a skilled CAD Technician for our Dental Laboratory. The Dental CAD Technician designs and develops digital dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants, using specialised CAD (computer-aided design) software., proficiency in CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create 3D digital models of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures, using CAD software such as Exocad, 3shape CAD and Blender software
  • Interpret dentist or lab specifications to ensure custom solutions meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Ensure accurate measurements, high-quality standards, and optimal fit for each dental restoration.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to review specifications, make necessary adjustments, and ensure patient needs are met.
  • Maintain and organise digital design files, keeping them updated and accessible for future modifications.
  • Perform quality checks on designs before sending them to manufacturing or 3D printing.


Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental CAD Technician.
  • Certification or diploma in Dental Technology, Dental CAD/CAM, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software specific to dental applications, such as Exocad, 3Shape, or Dental Wings.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with dental professionals.
  • Prior experience in handling a team, training and coaching. 
  • Solid understanding of dental anatomy and materials are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
