Role Overview:

The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of software applications through meticulous manual testing. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues early in the software development lifecycle and provide valuable insights to improve the product quality. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience, and leadership capabilities to guide junior team members.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in the design and development of comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing insights and assistance in test execution and bug resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in manual testing and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with testing Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks like React.
  • Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) development and deployment lifecycle (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
