You'll be securing buy-in to DevOps methodologies from the Product Owner, Platform Lead, and other key business stakeholders, driving commitment to an alternative way of working.We'll look to you to build and leverage internal and external relationships to make sure that decisions made are commercially focused and create long-term value for the bank. You'll also be collaborating in the development of the DevOps strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.In addition, you'll be:Designing and overseeing the architecture of systems and applications with a focus on scalability and reliabilityAnalysing system performance and optimising infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce costsDriving innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies that enhance the DevOps ecosystemLeading the automation of advanced workflows, creating reusable modules and templatesMaking sure that practices align with compliance requirements and industry standardsCommunicating effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidanceThe skills you'll needTo take on this role, you'll need at least eight years experience of the core principles and benefits of DevOps, paired with experience with common DevOps tools, source code management, deployment, and configuration tooling.You'll also need:Experience in scripting and working within a governed and regulated change frameworkExperience in AWS, terraform, DevOps, CI CD pipelines and KubernetesKnowledge and experience of Agile ways of workingExperience of deploying business critical systems to production on a daily continuous basisKnowledge of portfolio management theories, models, and practices, within an Agile or DevOps environmentHours45Job Posting Closing Date:31/10/2025
