Full Time Hybrid Working


About The Job We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and hands-on experience in setting up, managing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure.


The candidate should be capable of deploying applications on both Ubuntu and Windows servers, managing web servers like Nginx and IIS, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Technical Skill You Absolutely Need To Have AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services like VPC, IAM, Security Groups, Roles, Policies, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and more.


Operating Systems: Strong experience working with both Ubuntu and Windows Server environments. Web Servers: Proficient with Nginx, Apache and IIS configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.


Scripting and Automation: Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.


Security: Experience with implementing AWS security best practices, including IAM, security groups, Roles, Policies and firewall configurations. Monitoring: Strong understanding of setting up and managing CloudWatch metrics and alerts and other monitoring tools.


Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner and provide effective solutions.


Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) is a plus.


Stuff You Should Know

● Ubuntu and Powershell command line commands

● CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

● AMI and backup procedures Stuff You Should Have Done

● Setup of EC2 instances in private subnet with ALB and ASG

● Setting up SSH

● Cost Optimization

● Caused at least one connectivity issue

● Involved in the troubleshooting and fixing of at least one production bug/issue

● Run security patches on servers
