Job Summary As a Senior Linux Kernel Programmer, you'll play a crucial role in our rapidly expanding team focused on network security. Your strong networking background and exceptional understanding of Linux-based embedded systems will provide the foundation to excel in this position. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Your typical day might involve collaborating with our Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) on bringing up new hardware platforms, implementing complex features, or upgrading the operating system to a new kernel version. You'll also work closely with our China-based Quality Assurance (QA) team on bug fixes, performance tests, and comparisons of different hardware platforms. Key Performance Indicators In this role, you'll be responsible for resolving challenging technical issues, estimating development task size and scope, participating in code reviews, creating accurate documentation, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll work autonomously while consulting with others as required, providing regular updates to managers without prompting, and supporting QA and Customer Support teams as necessary.
