Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform across AWS/GCP.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Harness/GitHub Actions to ensure fast, reliable deployments.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.
  • Create and maintain Helm Charts for application packaging and deployment.
  • Manage source control and collaboration using Git and GitHub.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and troubleshoot cloud and containerized services.
  • Implement infrastructure best practices, security controls, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to define infrastructure requirements.
  • Track work and progress using Jira to manage epics, stories, and tasks efficiently.
  • Develop operational automation scripts and tools for repetitive tasks.
  • Ensure disaster recovery strategies and infrastructure backup mechanisms are in place and tested.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.
  • Proven experience with AWS and/or GCP platforms and services.
  • Deep understanding of Docker and container lifecycle management.
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Proficiency in Helm for managing complex K8s applications.
  • Hands-on experience building pipelines in GitHub Actions.
  • Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration workflows.
  • Familiarity with Jira for project and issue tracking.
  • Comfortable with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD.
  • Experience working in a multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setup.
  • Exposure to service mesh, observability (Prometheus, Grafana), or policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel).
  • Contribution to open-source tools or DevOps communities is a plus.
