Job Description

  • iConsultera is seeking candidates for the position of US Tax Associate Level 2 with a strong educational background and significant corporate experience in U.S.
  • Tax preparation and compliance.
  • The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing tax processes, and ensuring accurate tax reporting for assigned clients/portfolios in a professional and efficient manner.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual (1040), corporate (1120), and partnership tax returns.
  • Reconcile tax expense and liability accounts.
  • Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies.
  • Calculate and document federal/state income tax liabilities, extensions, and estimated payments.
  • Perform FAS 109 calculations for tax reporting.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage communication.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff on tax projects.
  • Advise clients on business process improvements and tax strategies.
  • Stay updated on tax law changes and attend training sessions.
  • Manage client billing and ensure deadlines are met.


Required Skills

  • 2+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • Experience with large public accounting firms.
  • Strong supervisory and client communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
  • Master’s degree in taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD is a plus.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance.
