Job Title:Senior Java Software Development ManagerMain Responsibilities:We are looking for a Senior Java Software Development Manager to lead and manage our development team.The ideal candidate will have experience in software development of multi-tier web applications and relevant architecture concepts/technologies, preferably Java, Spring and Angular/React.Responsibilities include supporting assigned employees in accomplishing their tasks, coaching and supporting employees in personal and methodological development topics, defining and tracking employee targets in line with company and divisional objectives.Additionally, the Senior Java Software Development Manager will conduct staff appraisals, define and plan training measures for employees in line with requirements, organize regular transfer of expertise within the team and beyond.The role also involves forward-looking planning and management of the team's capacities for implementing product and technology roadmaps and customer requirements/projects.Selecting and managing external employees in projects (on-site and nearshore) is another key responsibility of this position.The Senior Java Software Development Manager will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and continuously improving the software development process.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in software development of multi-tier web applications and relevant architecture concepts/technologies, preferably Java, Spring and Angular/React.Strong leadership and management skills.Able to support assigned employees in accomplishing their tasks.Coaching and supporting employees in personal and methodological development topics.Defining and tracking employee targets in line with company and divisional objectives.Conducting staff appraisals.Defining and planning training measures for employees in line with requirements.Organizing regular transfer of expertise within the team and beyond.Selecting and managing external employees in projects (on-site and nearshore).Managing, monitoring, and continuously improving the software development process.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our organization.Others:Please note that this job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
