The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. He will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Position: Head of Finance/Chief Finance Officer

Experience: 20 years in Finance & Accounts functions

Qualification: CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Management

  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
  • Manage fundraising activities, including interactions with banks, lenders, private equity firms, mutual funds, and merchant bankers.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and governance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies related to inventories, credit management, depreciation, etc.

Financial Accounting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to financial and tax requirements.

Managerial Accounting & Business Support

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business goals.
  • Establish and manage costing and bidding systems to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of financial and accounting functions at various organizational levels.
  • Hands-on experience in structured finance systems and operations.
  • Strong expertise in financial management for project-based businesses.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
  • Experience working with private equity firms and merchant bankers.
