Job Description The Opportunity: The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs is a regional Operations leadership role requiring managerial skills and technical payments knowledge  to ensure optimal business execution in Asia Pacific (APAC).  The Pay-Outs team is responsible for cash management, foreign exchange (FX), payout and refunding processes.  The APAC team extends across Australia, India, and Singapore.  The Senior Manager will collaborate with colleagues from the business and other back office functions like Finance, Compliance, Network Management and Product to ensure smooth day to day payment processing.   The Senior Manager will coach the team and deploy extensive payments knowledge and stakeholder management skills to deliver high impact results to the business.  The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs must be both strategic and tactical to ensure success.  As a regional lead, the Senior Manager must be capable of understanding complex operational and transaction banking nuances to make sound and sustainable decisions during APAC business hours.  The Senior Manager will also develop talent within the team and create opportunities to recognize top performers.   Throughout all this, the Senior Manager will collaborate with teams across the organization and drive transparent communication to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.  What you'll be doing: Manage a regional team to execute APAC Operations related to cash management, FX, outgoing payment processing, and refunds Manage and control the daily operations processesDeliver regulatory reports timely and accuratelyInvestigate and resolve complex APAC Operations escalations Build strong relationships with business leads and stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Network Management, and ProductOptimize payment network processesProvide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Pay-Outs teamBe the expert and "go-to" person in all the operational processes and systemsBring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to inform decision-makingUse data to make decisions that will impact operational processesBe the main point of contact for the different internal and external stakeholders that rely on the team's operational execution Qualifications Here's What We're Looking For:Experience managing teams of 5+ peopleDeep understanding of cash management, FX, and payment processing Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Fluent in written and spoken English Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)Passion for problem solving and helping customersHighly effective communication skillsA positive, can-do attitude motivated to drive ongoing, continuous improvement7+ years experience in payments industry, finance or banking operations Additional Information What We Offer:Competitive compensation, including Restricted Stock Units Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Flying Start - Our immersive Global Induction Program (Meet our Execs & Global Teams)Work with brilliant people that will keep you on your toes, learn more about their journeys by checking out #InsideFlywire on social mediaDynamic & Global Team (we have been collaborating virtually for years)Wellbeing Programs (Mental Health, Wellness, Yoga/Pilates/HIIT Classes) with Global FlyMates Be a meaningful part in our success - every FlyMate makes an impactCompetitive time off including FlyBetter Days to volunteer in a cause you believe in and Digital Disconnect DaysGreat Talent & Development Programs (Managers Taking Flight – for new or aspiring managers)Submit today and get startedWe are excited to get to know you Throughout our process you can expect to meet with different FlyMates including the Hiring Manager, Peers on the team, the VP of the department, and a skills assessment.
