Unix Infrastructure Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Unix administrator with a strong technical background to join our team. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our RHEL infrastructure.Manage and maintain RHEL infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.Plan and implement installation, configuration, and migration of OS and related hardware and software.Troubleshoot incidents and system problems, escalating to vendors as needed.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, OS patching/upgrades/hardening, and provide system performance tuning and optimization.Manage clustering (Pacemaker cluster) and VMware environment.Fulfill service requests and change requests in a timely manner.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:At least 8 years of relevant working experience as a Unix administrator.Strong technical knowledge and experience in administration and maintenance of Linux.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong background in Unix technologies including High Availability and virtualization.Experience with storage admin/SAN technology from a system perspective.Familiarity with anti-virus implementation in RHEL.Proven ability to identify and improve performance measurement and reporting processes in a large organization.Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams in both project and operational environments.
